Associate Director, Business Affairs – Rhino

Responsibilities/Duties: Drafting and negotiating agreements relating to the acquisition and exploitation of nonmusical intellectual property rights (e.g., trademark, copyright, name and likeness) in connection with merchandise, sponsorship, and other similar deals • Drafting and negotiating agreements relating to the acquisition and exploitation of rights in musical recordings and compositions (e.g., recording agreements, producer agreements, audio and audiovisual master use licenses, side artist clearances) • Working directly with Creative and Marketing Departments, to identify and address legal and business issues that arise from product development plans • Researching and interpreting existing contracts; preparing contract summaries • Managing and responding to audit claims, infringement claims and other third party claims brought against Rhino • Researching and prosecuting claims against third parties for infringement of Rhino’s assets • Other general legal research, particularly related to intellectual property rights • Such other duties as reasonably may be required
