Seeks Full Time Accounts Receivable Accountant / Bookkeeper
Forced Exposure is a fiercely independent music distributor located in the Boston area. We are a small and growing company with a deep passion for independently released music covering many genres. We offer a unique work environment with no dress code, friendly non-shedding office dogs, an indoor basketball court, and continuous exposure to new music.
Responsibilities Include:
Accounts Receivable Accounting
Analyze Aging
Generate statements
Communicate with customers
Create Invoices, Credit Memos, and Debit Memos
Apply Credits
General Ledger Accounting
G/L Transaction Posting
G/L Accounts Reconciliation
Month End closing
Bank Accounts Reconciliation
Requirements:
Skills:
Mathematics, Reading Comprehension, Time Management, Active Listening, Critical Thinking, Active Learning
Computer Applications:
MS Word & Excel, any mid-range accounting system
Strong typing
Experience:
2-4 years accounting experience
Education:
Some College Courses
Compensation:
